I'm clearing out a lot of stuff. The sheer amount of rubbish filling up my room has put me off tackling it but I've decided to do it the minimalist way. I've been clearing up one little spot every day this month and I plan to continue to the end of February. I'm finding it much more manageable this way and I can see a difference already. It's actually becoming a bit of a habit. When I finish an area I'm already looking for the next one. Could it be a new tidier me starting to emerge?

</rss:item><rss:item rdf:about="http://www.stephenpieper.net/journal/2010/1/6/new-camera.html"><rss:title>New Camera</rss:title><rss:link>http://www.stephenpieper.net/journal/2010/1/6/new-camera.html</rss:link>

<dc:subject>2009 Photography xmas</dc:subject>

<img src="http://www.stephenpieper.net/storage/IMG_0145 copy.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1262795934858" style="border:1px solid black"; alt="Ross"; />RossI'm still messing around with the template settings here. It's something I'm prone to doing. Procrastination is my middle name. Here's a picture I took of my nephew on Christmas Day. I snapped it with the tiny new camera that I bought myself as a present.

</rss:item><rss:item rdf:about="http://www.stephenpieper.net/journal/2010/1/4/staying.html"><rss:title>Staying</rss:title><rss:link>http://www.stephenpieper.net/journal/2010/1/4/staying.html</rss:link>

<dc:subject></dc:subject>
After playing around with Squarespace for a few hours I've decided not to wait for the fourteen day trial to end and just dive right in again. It might seem strange as blogs appear to be changing under the influence of Twitter etcetera. I find myself becoming dissatisfied with the brevity of social media sites and being drawn back to the longer writing in dedicated blogs. I'd much rather read a blog than a stream of Twitter updates. I'm going to try this out for 14 days and see where it goes.

I've had my fill of messing around with hosting and FTP software and decided to let someone else worry about that stuff. I'm not a brand. I've got nothing to sell. I don't give a hoot about SEO. Let's see how this works out.

</rss:item></rdf:RDF>
